            The Blue Umbrella

The Blue Umbrella is one of the masterpiece novellas of ‘Indian William Wordsworth' Ruskin Bond. Only a genius can bring out the best from nothing and so Ruskin Bond. Just an ordinary event has become extraordinary with brilliant representation. This is a novella consisting of only 33 pages but enough to give us a great lesson.

The Blue Umbrella is a short and humorous novella set in the hills of Garhwal, where ordinary characters become heroic, and others find opportunities to redeem themselves. Life is not only about living your own life or your own happiness. We are so confined in our own lifestyle that we never get the leisure to think of others. Moreover moral of the story is you can never be happy by making someone sad.
