Tuesday With Morrie ~by Mitch Albom

           Tuesday With Morrie

Let’s imagine two scenarios-

1) Hope you are going to leave a place forever, you will never be back there... What will you do...? If it was me I would visit my favorite people, and favorite places would try my favorite local foods, and will try to share some memorable moments......!! And everything you will do, it will be the last moment you spent there.... you will never get back those... Like you left your favorite restaurant the day before you leave, it was your last visit to that place...

2) Now imagine if there was a joyous event in your household, what will you do...?? I will buy my favorite dresses, invite my favorite people, would plan exciting things to make it memorable...

Now, the above two different scenarios were given to us, first one was painful and the second one was joyous but if you notice in both cases our actions were same our tendency was to make both scenarios memorable... Now imagine if these two things happen to us at the same time but in a ruthless way....?? Yes, it is the context of this novel...

Here in the Novel, a professor(Morrie) is diagnosed with ALS disease ... He has hardly two years to live... He was never ready for such a drastic turn of life... the disease was snatching away each of his competence day by day, but he wants to live, he wants to make a memory... So, will he be able to fulfill his last wish? let’s find it in the Novel...

We will see two scenarios, one will show how he gradually embraces death and the other will show how he makes this period of life the most memorable event in life... It is 'a memory' which is the most precious thing that we can gift to anyone...
